A Special Friday

Today is a special friday. Many things had happened. I'm still going for my vocal classes but I was extremely late today. I reached there at 10.30am when the class was suppose to start at 10am. Luckily I still had my 1 hour class.

Rushing back to Pyramid, we had lunch at Mcd. Now they have the 'Surfs Up' promo. While eating, we could hear that they were having the Skating competition going on. It's so cute to watch little girls skate.

Anyway, after lunch, I went to Pui Yee's house to find Mr Zhao. Until she had Wai Khong's class at 5pm... We reached there at 4.30pm, only to find that the class was once again brought forward to 4.30... Lucky~!

So instead of waiting initially for 7pm, class ended at 5.30pm. What now...?
Go for tea. Seriously, we went to our vege shop to order a POT of TEA.
It's a nice hang out place and serve good food for a fair price. So we waited here to pass time.

Then came 6.30pm. As usual, we went to go watch Uncle Donnie play the piano in Pyramid. And lo and behold, he lets Pui Yee play a bit. ^___^ You really play nicely, my dear.
It's nice to watch someone you know, play.
In case, you're wondering, Uncle Donnie is a nice man who comes to play piano at Pyramid at 6.30pm every evening. Pui Yee was the one who told me about him and comes to watch him whenever she can (which is normally Friday after Wai Khong's class).
Ok ok, for those who have read this far, you may be wondering what's so special about this particular friday. Pui Yee turns 21 today [throws confetti]
And me, Kidchan, Sarah, Jason and Joel have gathered to celebrate.

Of course, we got Uncle Donnie to play the "Happy Birthday" song while we tried to sing in key. We tried~! Hahaha~!
We wanted to eat at Halo cafe but someone had booked the entire freaking restaurant so we came here. Actually Thai.
We had a good time here. I'm glad to say there was good chemistry tonight and we laughed and joked the night away (to the point, I fear we were really loud and all). I really enjoyed myself tonight.
The restaurant comes with my full recommendation but you'll need to be willing to pay the money la. As the restaurant was closing, we made the move to return home. It was 10.30pm when I sent Sarah back to USJ. I thought heading to the federal highway from USJ would be clear, mana tau a lot of cars...
As I tapped my fingers to the beat on the steering wheel, I saw that a line of cars detoured into the housing area. So I decided to follow along to see if there was an alternative route from the jam.
We drove through rows of houses, turning at junctions and occasionally stopping to see where I was. Curious enough, I came out just at the right place and was merrilly on the federal highway. Nice! It's fun to play follow the leader after all. Hehehe~!
That's all for tonight. I need to be up to help Mum with market stuff tomorrow. Cheers~!

Convo Night (23rd June)

Here's the night. The mark of the end of the three years of my stay in The One Academy.

"We all began with the ending in mind,
Eagerly we wait for the proceeding chapter,
We even look to each other in disbelief,
As the final chapter is being read - At least I have you;
To the top with dreams and visions,
Hoping that our dreams will set and our vision take flight,
Others has help to overlook our growth,
See us now as we take these new steps;
Knowing that we are never alone,
We brace this new future straight on
While reflecting on the good times we shared,
And nurturing the hearts of friendship that blossomed;
To my family and friends: Thank you for looking out for me,
Thank you for your support and jubilance,
Thank you for your strength and faith,
Thank you for your kindness and smiles;
Be proud my teachers and witness,
The mark we will make in near future;
To my dear teachers - Thank you for your energy,
Thank you for always believing in me,
Thank you for your patience and joy,
Thank you for your inspiration,
Thank you for your trust,
Thank you for bringing the best out in me,
Thank you for your guidance,
Thank you for pushing me to my limit,
With your courage and wisdom, I don't fear the future,
For I know your well wishes for all of us is true,
I shall forever remember you,
I wish to express my eternal gratitude and love for you my teachers;
Of the many messages I've learnt, We are many colours but we are all the same inside, our passion burns within.
Imagination glows brighter with fun, spirit and just daring to try.
Age doesn't seem to matter when it comes to good friends, it is the sharing of our hearts;
Of all the rain or shine we had together, forever we are family.
As we reach the last of the pages, I'm glad that I have such a supportive family,
Be it blood and bond, I love all of you
I hope God will bless all of you and send angels to look after you always."
For now, I bid thee adieu. I shall cherish all the memories together but still I look forward to meeting all of you in future.

That's all for now. Cheers~!

Massive Clean-Up Turn Over (MCUTO)

Actually I'm on Day 7 of my MCUTO. I just finished going through the 3 years of notes collected while I was in TOA. It took me a good 2 days to finish. You can imagine all the ugly figures I can finally throw away~! Looking at all those figures was rather de-motivating... I still suck in drawing but I'd like to think that my skills with the markers and artline pens are fine.

Aside from the 3 years of TOA, I also decided to finally go through my SAM notes too. I had put it off for quite a long while. Surprisingly, the amount of SAM notes that I threw out were 3 times more than the TOA ones. I must note here that SAM is a 1 year course.... Most that I threw out were my maths and speacialist maths workpapers.

All the papers that I didn't want I've sent them for recycling. Now my figure sketches are waiting to be recycled too. I hope the garbage men won't pick up to look at them. Oohh... the nightmares they would have. Hahah~! Well, I didn't really throw out all my sketches. I kept some. I'm rather glad to be tossing out notes and stuff. Let's just hope I won't be needing them any time soon. I'll stop for now... Cheers~!

Up at Genting Highlands

Just came back from the tippy top of the hill. It was a nice change of fair weather. Mum got herself a free room to stay so why waste. I went up to just sit around in the breeze. It's nice to go for a dip in the pool seeing that it was low season when I was up there. Was there for only a night.

Anyway, I never really fancied going up there. I've been to Genting ever since the very beginning of Genting when it was just a flower garden. It was much cooler then. The family photos would say as much.

Trailing up the hills then was not as easy as it is now. The long winding roads were no fun for a child who was often carsick (that would be me). Genting seemed to be a sanctuary for my parents, even now with all the hustle and bustle.

Peak seasons are no joke up there. I was there just last Christmas. It is times like those that you best settle into the hotel and play uno and snap the night through. But if you insist on "joining the crowd", prepare to be squished like a bug and always hold on tight to your belongings.

Genting Highlands... nothing spectacular could happen up there, unless something unfortunate or supernatural happenings to report. In a place this high, things of this sort are no strangers to some of the staff members here... But since I have neither encounters (and continue to pray that I don't) I shall end my post entry here. Cheers~!

Welcoming the era of 'Granado Espada'

I've not blogged for quite a while now. Since graduating, I actually wonder how some people like vivian, chris, nicole are doing. I know some are already working. The main reason why I've disappeared from the Internet is because I'm enjoying myself, playing this game.

The name of the game is Granado Espada. That's my character, Adrian Winterwolf. He's a fighter.
The graphics and artificial intelligence for the characters are the absolute plus point for this game. So maybe that's already available for other games but this would be a first for me.
A lot of details in the background...
New to this type of gaming, I found the controls a little complicated at first but with time, I got the hang of it. Plus my younger sis is playing this game too.
With the pose option and a simple click of your printscreen button, there gives me lots of photo opportunity. And you know how trigger happy i am, right or not, puiyeel? Heeheh~!
But seriously with all this amazing graphics and AI, this game does require a little more computer and higher system requirements if compared to games such as maple story and Ragnarok. Did I mention the bg songs are nice~? Hahaha. I'll come back to post other random stuff later. Cheers~!
