The end is near...

Yes, my children. The end is drawing to a close. The moon shines bright and upon us it brings on the cloak of lunacy. Don't be afraid of the night, there aren't many things that can hurt but be vary of the knights of the night. They hide in the shadows, waiting and waiting. They only come if thou stray off thy path. Yes, come closer to the fire. Gather its heat and remember its light. It will be thy guiding light in a time of need. And with this, I bid thee good tidings and may the four guardians of the winds protect thee..

^__^ Sorry. A little reminder from the shaman of dreams. I do enjoy dreams every night and often I can remember what I dreamt. I dream in colour. That aside, probably just crazy from the workload. Things have gone haywire and I'm right in the middle of the chaos. Let's think what happened...

Well, a virus hit my home computer and I had to reformat my computer. I learnt how to reformat my computer from Pui Yee. I took two hours to reformat and another two hours to re-install all the programmes. My mac is slowing down and turning off its screen for no apparent reason~! I scanned this fellow but nothing turned up.

Virus are such a bugger to handle. Handling assignments is super difficult.. Presentations, Execution of designs, Progress, Rejects.. Sleepless nights. A lot of things happened. I even fell from a swing. I'm lucky to not break anything but I was with sore muscles for a few days. I still like swings no matter what happens. [silly smile] Sorry for the lack of graphics this time around. Blogger was bad to me for the past few days. Couldn't log in. Hehe, until next time, cheers!

A Medley of Days

Let me say that I'm glad that the business presentation is over and done with. As you can see we were very busy during the morning of the presentation. Now, my worry is there's an exam to study for. Don't get me wrong, I rather take a test than doing a project. It's just that I don't know what to study for this subject... The horror.

Right, I made my way to KLCC on Saturday (18/11) to take some photos of the concourse area. This shot was taken by my younger sis, for I was driving. Pretty sky~!

My sister took this photo of a low flying aircraft. I couldn't even see it as it was flying above my car. My eyes were on the road, safety first people.

This is what I deem the famous tourist shot of the twin towers. Seriously. My sister took this shot at a location where tourism buses drop tourists to take this shot. The only difference is my sister is in the car and the tourist is at the road side. Haha~!

I wonder if you knew that photography in KLCC is not allowed except for the concourse area and outside in the park. I wonder why though? Intellectual property issue?

There were still a lot of people in KLCC. It's outside of the public holidays season but the start of the school holidays. I didn't expect this many people to be in KLCC. I got my mum's parking season card so I got to park at KLCC for free. Hehe~! Parking fees in KLCC is crazy.

Look~! A tailor shop with the word fox. Hahaha. Sorry, you probably won't get this joke unless you know what my younger sis nickname is.

Now this is a joke you'll probably can follow. In kinokuniya, there's this thick book that goes by the title of "How to read a book". Scary.

I have officially joined into the friendster family. The reason why I didn't want to have a friendster account was that many people had one. What changed my mind? The fact that I'm on a roll of doing new things; like having this blogspot account, setting up a deviantart account.

I came across a few photos of myself when I was younger. If I remember correctly, this one was taken in the Titiwangsa park. It was my birthday then and we decided to have a picnic. It was really fun~!

This photo is a rarity of rare. One of the only shots you can see me "shy" and in pink (I'm the one on the left, the one on the right is my elder sister). In case you didn't realise, I don't like wearing pink nowadays.

My 21st birthday is coming around the corner. Seeing these photos brings back memories that I have long cherished. Life's been good to me. I've been granted a family that loves me, friends who support me, senses which I can use to appreciate them more and a healthy, fully functional body. I look forward to such a future. Thank you to all of you for being there fo me.

College and its Long, Long Days

Hehe, I had my mum's digital camera with me so I took the liberty of snapping some photos when I was suppose to be doing work. Hehe, I was in New Media Studio class, in Multimedia Lab 1. How does one explain what new media studio teaches... The best way I can think of is coming up with new or more fun ways to communicate your message / idea across.
{From left to right: Vivian, Noriko, Man Meng(Tutor) in bg}

It can be quite challenging and fun at the same time. Since we're now at week 11, the project is due rather soon. Everyone's really hard at work..
{From left to right: Hong Wai, Wai Khong (lecturer), Man Meng}

After New Media class, Pui Yee and I had to rush to do our business plan and presentation. We were given about 4 weeks to handle it but due to team problems (again~!), Pui Yee and I had to do most of it.. I might add that this was what happened for our Marketing class and Consumer Behaviour class we did a few terms back.

We had nowhere to work at the college (one of the downside of my college). So I had to work here.. (I marked an x) Sad.. Note: Class ended at 12pm and Pui Yee and I had to stay back until 3pm for meeting. Which was unless in the end... [grumble grumble]

We needed to take photo of the location where we want to "start business". So I was running around Pyramid taking photos of food stalls. They were quite a bit of people in Pyramid. No surprise since the school holidays around.. I have 3-4 more weeks until the "break". Why the inverted commas? That's because of the graduation campaign activities.. Need to raise money and stuff. [sigh]

Oh~! So you know, there's this little cafe at the Ice Skating rink that serves up a delicious serving of shepherd's pie. They also serve other food there, sandwiches, spagetti.. It may come up to be a bit pricey so best to prepare some money before venturing there.

Anyway, we then made our way back to Pui Yee's house after buying dinner from Giant. I passed through this shop where Kakak works at. Hehe, it was sporting of her to pose..

Because we need to do the business plan and presentation kit by the next day, I had to stay overnight at Pui Yee's house. [points to photo above: That's Pui Yee's worktable] Why does this always happen? The only upsides of things is that I like staying over at Pui Yee's place and that I got to eat Pui Yee's cooking..

Tada~! Angel Hair Spagetti with heated tomato sauce from a can. We also had instant soup. Even though it's easy to prepare, I really appreciate Pui Yee for cooking. Doesn't it look delicious? Cheers

Of books,cake & takoyaki

Look it~! Books and lots of them. Hahaha~! Those aren't mine. Those are my younger sis's. All them books are fantasy books. Dragons, Adventure, Quests, Harry Potter, Merlin... The whole real deal.

These are mine... I have a wider range of books. Classics, artbooks, General Knowledge... and a lot more. As you can see, we're kind of running out of space. But at the moment, that's not going to stop us from buying books. There's always the floor to use..

My younger sis got me this for my birthday.. She actually bought this about 2 months ago and my birthday's like in December.. hahaha. I've read this manga a few times over already. ^__^ i love the wolf bookmark so much that i can't bare to use it because it'll bend, tear or would be lost. so it stays at home where it's safe.

Karen got me a cake as a gift~! Happy days~! And it's from bread story. And she has not tried it before. hahaha~! My turn to be the guinea pig. I was feeling a little down in class so when she gave me the cake, I was ecstatic~! Food cheers me up quite easily~!

Feeling happy until that little accident I had when I was getting to my car in Sunway Pyramid... They decided to waxed the floor at the level 1 elevator. I didn't know so I got out normally from the elevator. I was carrying the cake and some paper in my right hand and a pen in the left and almost wearing my heavy school bag. I slipped and crashed to the floor on my front. I managed to safe the cakebox but I kind of landed on my left knee. The best thing was there were three other people waiting for the elevator and they didn't try to help me up or even bother to ask if I was alright~! All they were thinking was "oh dear, we missed the elevator to go up~!" Forget it~! Why fume over people who don't care about other people? I even drew out the incident in Illustrator (feel free to see the pic above)

After all that, the cake was still in one good piece! Haha~! Itadakimas(u)~!

Yummy~!

[chomp]

[CHOMP~!]

Whee~! It was delicious. It's all chocolate-y and it's just nice..

And my younger sis got takoyaki for me to eat too... though I only ate it after she had bought it for 7 hours ago. who would have guessed that a cake and takoyaki can be filling~! Since I only got 1 hour of sleep yesterday, I went straight to bed after having my cake and takoyaki as my dinner... a good 12 hours of sleep~! Hahaha~!
I love sleeping, right next to eating. Cheers~!

W11 of 14

It's truely scary to note that I've only got 4 weeks left to do so many things. I really want the term to end already. >__<

Sat (11/11) - Chris & I went to do our carwash turn. Yuppers~! It's a graduation thing and it's to earn money... It wasn't a problem for me to go there because Darren & I were the ones who went to find out where the location was in the first place. Here we were thinking we would be late (suppose to meet up at 10.30 at college and start the carwash at 11) but the other IL guys were later than us...

All in all, we washed 6 and a half vehicles that day. Yup, 6 and a half. Why half? We were washing one half of a car when the owner said we didn't need to wash it but just wipe it down. hahaha~!

I had spent my weekend on sorting the years of notes I accumulated during my study in The One Academy. It took me 2 days to finish. Whew~! I've glad to sort my stuff but that leaves me with my other work to do... [nervous laugh] Oh bother~!

One thing's for sure, I can so count the days to my doom with one hand. Wish me luck~! Until next time... Hope there'll be a next time. *gulp*

This week's rants

For the past few weeks, I seemed unfocused thus leading me to doing some random things. Going trigger happy with a digital camera is my hobby of mine so it's not very surprising that I have a whole archive of photos & random pictures. Like these below.

This one of my younger sister's birthday cake. It's blackforest. It doesn't look like the normal blackforest my family buys for the countless birthdays celebrated within our family. You can say that it's one of our upmost favourite. My favourite cake by far is blueberry cheese cake. yummy~!

This one is of a scissors that I had have for a long time now. How it became like this is not surprising. Unfortunately I have a history of breaking stuff.. cups, bowls, porcelain spoons, pot covers, chairs, a bottle of nescafe, alarm clocks, a vcr player, a laptop hard drive and the list does go on. It seems that I'm cursed with butter fingers & clumsy all round. I'm just lucky I haven't broken any bones...

This one is my cat looking interested at the tv downstairs. The funny thing is my mum always wanted to own a persian cat.. and a cockateel. Many people refer my house as a zoo. Look at the pets we have now, 2 dobermann, 1 cat, 1 terrapene, 9 fishes.. Account of pets that have departed; 2 rabbits, 1 dog, 2 terrapene, countless amount of fishes... and sadly 1 cockateel.

Ack~! sorry this one turned out so small.. This photo was inspired by a lot of things. firstly, my dad happened to take this series of photo of the garden in my house. secondly, I am exposed to photo stitching style by vivian's & ando's blog. was just having fun with photoshop..

p/s: Today is Vivian's 20th birthday. Was very happy that I was invited to be together with her for her lunch celebration. However, the idea of having lunch at Zen restaurant is impossible with my wallet dried of money.. I made the effort to give her a present. Dinner was fun though. Was with Pui Yee at BBQ plaza. Sometimes I wonder if we could get more people to join us... we just don't know who to call and often fear they're not willing to spend. [sigh]

Until here then. Look forward to more rants~! [silly grin]

Birthdays

The week has come to pass.. Time flies no matter what you do.

The highlight of the week was saturday when I attended my friend's, Eugene's 21st party. Not familiar with the way to Klang so I took a train ride from KL central to Klang, which is a long one. When I arrived there, the only person I knew was Eugene. But lucky for me, I made a few friends there. [grin]

Seeing him celebrating his birthday reminded me that my own 21st would be coming around the corner too. Celebrating a 21st birthday to some is a big occassion to others it's just another birthday. I'm a bit of both. Birthdays come annually but it's nice when there're people that you love are with you to share the joy.. [warm fuzzy feeling] I hope that everyone will be able to share this occassion with me.

I'll end here now. Short post this time. One thing I realise is that it's hard to write a post without pictures & photos.. After all, a pictures is worth a 1000 words. [silly grin]

Kya~ness Day

What’s a kya~!? The best explanation for it would be it’s a fan-girl scream… To those who don’t know what a fan-girl scream is, you need to attend concerts or at least watch anime. Educate yourself. Hahaha~! Kidding!

Anyway, as an overall today was a good day. For one, Thursday is the day when I have my afternoon classes. Normally I’m able to wake later but I was sent on an assignment mission~!

I was set out to take some photographs for my subject; internship. It was such a beautiful day for a photography session like this. It’s just that it was really, really sunny and hot.

I had to ignore Mr. Sun shining bright in the sky. I was focusing on how to compose the shot. I still need lots and lots of practice…

It was very nice to be able to go into Taylors once more after 3 years. I don’t know if alumni of Taylors students are allowed to go into the building… I was extremely lucky to bump into my most favourite lecturer during my SAM programme. She still remembered me after 3 years. I was so happy~! [got her email add]

Being able to come back after a while, you’ll learn to appreciate things that you see for granted. Like they say, you don’t know what you lost until you lose it. This classroom was used for my IT classes.. kinda small if you ask me.

This shot looks messy with plants growing everywhere. This is the Courtyard, the place where I used to stay back and study or do homework from after class (3pm) until 7pm.

Often I did IT and specialist maths homework here. Chris frequently kept me company and he’s the one who makes me go home when it’s too dark to study. I do miss those days. The One Academy doesn’t have a nice, greenery place for me to study.

This road used to be a two way road but recently they changed it to become a one way road. I used to walk this road often to have lunch with my friends or to go buy books.

After a ride down memory lane [loud braking sound], I went back to taking photos of subang jaya landmarks.. I really enjoy photography above all the art stuff I’ve learnt over the years.

Speaking of landmarks, this photo is a landmark for Puiyee & I use to identify which road Bard lives at. So if they decide to break down the wall and build another wall.. we can’t find our way to Bard’s house anymore… well, we’ll just take longer than usual.

Landmarks are important to me because I’m bad with directions & instructions. I can’t really read a map either. I took my father’s advice to heart; “if you’re going to get lost, get lost on a full tank.” Hehe~!

What else was my kya-ness today? Apart from the beautiful morning and meeting with my most favourite teacher, I chatted with two of more of my teachers this morning and I had a good dinner and tea with Puiyee. All good days have to come to an end… Now it’s the 3rd and it’s my younger sis birthday. Happy birthday, Kitsune (means fox in Japanese)~! Cheers.
