A Mess

Oh god~! A week has finally got out of its way. Loads of things happned. Although it's now friday, I don't have class today. [peace sign] Except for a meeting for graduation campaign... [sigh] Things don't look pretty there. We lack cooperation, closeness, coordination. Who am I to say anything? [shrugs]

Right now, I'm having what they call, separation anxiety. From this term on, Pui Yee and I will have no class what-so-ever in common. [cries buckets] I'll still try my best to have lunches, dinners and bowling sessions with her at least. Speaking about bowling, I went bowling yesterday with Pui Yee and Mel. Gosh, my bowling's rusty. My only form of exercise that I look forward to and do.

As for dinners, we had Bar BQ Plaza yesterday and steamboat with Michael, Jason & Bard the day before that. Sorry for the lack of photo but I didn't have a camera on me. If I did, I'd take more photos than eating more.

Everyone's feeling a little emo. Me, Pui Yee, Noriko for starters. Frankly speaking, the new and last term is scaring me. All my subjects that I have now seems to be steering me in preparation of getting a job in this industry. Nothing is confirmed yet. I'm just trying to focus on passing... Time management and motivation should come hand in hand. I have neither.

Unfornately, I'm using Maple Story as an outlet now. It's a no-brainer~! Online games are addictive and I should be stopping...

[sigh] We'll see what will happen... this weekend Sunday I have to do my blood test, which I don't really want to go because a few things will pop up negative and then I'll be on pills or on a strange diet or both. "Brilliant". My saturday I'll be going for a Massive Territory conference. The main reason I'm going is because I can. [evil smirk] It's RM110. Will write more about it when I get back from that event. Sorry dudes, I hope I didn't sound too emo. Cheers~!

The Start

The new and last term has just begun.

My first Monday always begins with waking up early and getting myself to school as early as I can to see my results. But this time around I knew that there would be a black bar across because I failed my MMPS and had to redo it during the holidays. [sigh]

As usual, there would be crowds of anxious students clumping together at the results board. Yup, a nice black bar for me to see. So with the number Pui Yee help me to get, I was on my way to see the SAR (student administration and registration) department for the first time.

"It's not much fun to wait for your number to be called and the SAR people are quite cranky on the first day." This much I had gathered from friends while my 2+ years studying here. Number 43... I had to wait from 10am until 1pm to see them just for my results. Lucky I had Pui Yee and books to accompany me. The verdict: All B's. Happy days~!

Class was at 4.30pm so we (Pui Yee, Mel and I) went around to see the new set lunches the restaurants have to offer. In the end, we settled for Actually Thai's set lunches. It was quite spicy but so delicious and so filling~! RM15. Drinks and dessert included. I recommend it~!

After lunch (about 2.30pm) Mel went off to class while Pui Yee and I went to the bowling alley. We didn't go to bowl (bowling day's set to thursday) but sat down to watch primary kids being trained. I didn't know that you can deduce a person's behaviour from how they bowl. How interesting.

Well, we couldn't be watching them kids bowl the whole day so we made our way to the library. Hmmm... Not much people comes to the library on the first day of school. All the better for me. Hehe

Digital Portfolio was my first class of the term. My conclusion from the first day... It's interesting but it's going to be a lot of work. Preparing us to working in the design industry. [sigh] Even with the start of the term, I still feel like I did in the holidays. Dear me, need to get working soon. Cheers~!

Pendrive~!

The new timetable's out. The verdict: A 3 days a week term. I get weekends and Tues and Fridays off. How 'fun'. Right... This term will be the most difficult of all. Sounds like I'm going to go beat the big boss, Chaos. [prepares battle gear]

That aside, I went to Low Yat to get a new pendrive. And folks, I got myself a 2gb pendrive~! Muahaha~! There was nothing wrong with my old 1gb pendrive, I assure you. It's just that it went to my younger sis and her 512mb pendrive will be going to my mum, whose pendrive died. Hehehe.. Perfect chance to get a new pendrive. [evil smirk]

Anyway walking around Low Yat's computer area, I noticed that a 'sweep' had occured. Well, I have about all the stuff I need but my younger sis is going to start her computer science so... Let's hope that those nice 'people' will come back soon.

Looking back at my calendar, I see that this week is so coming to the end. It's Saturday now. Argh~! Where did them holidays go? [cries] Until next time.

Cheesecake

The New Year is here and mum just finished checking stock for the Chinese New Year baking preparation. Since my mum was cleaning up the baking utensils, she decided to bake a Peach Cheesecake.

For those who don't know, there are two ways to making cheesecake and that is either by baking it in an oven or just refrigerate it (it'll depend on the recipe). Mum decided on the bake type of cake (it'll be her first bake-type cheesecake). I helped.

I'm ok with the peeling, slicing, and dicing provided you're willing to be patient with me (need the time to focus on not cutting my fingers) but when we come to the fire bit, things could get ugly. Hahaha~! I tend to burn stuff. A slight Pyromaniac.

The cake turned out so-so. Mum's not used to the fairly new oven. The temperature was not high enough and so when we took out the cake the first time, it was too soft and wet. It was so funny. Anyway, the cake needed to be baked some more. But after that, Yummy~!

Will be busy with baking and stuff. Chinese New Year's on the 18th of Feb, I think. Mum normally uses a whole month to bake. If you come to my house, 80% of what there's to eat is home-made. Maybe I'll bring / make some to sell. Cheers~!

Lonely New Year

*~The night was lonely for Joanne. Everyone had their own plans for tonight. Her parents had gone out to gamble while her sisters had gatherings of their own. Her maid had retired for the night.

The sound of the grandfather clock echoes through the quiet, lonely house as it strikes midnight. To her, the night was like any other night... Except it was New Year's. Outside it sounded like a faraway war. Explosions kept sounding outside her window. Only a glimpse of light could be seen.

Slowly, Joanne picks out a bottle of the refrigerator. She read in her mind, 'Chateau Lussaut, 2002 red wine. Leftover from Christmas.' Pouring herself a glass, she took out her handphone from the room. However, even receiving some warm-hearted sms didn't seem to bring her into the spirit.

"Here's to a New Year" she says to no one in particular, downing the entire glass in a swing.

Her cat, Bincoa seemed to understand her owner's loneliness and tries to cheer her up. "Looks like I only have you for this new year" ~*

Hope you all had a better New Year's. Cheers~!
