Wednesday 18th June
The fresh morning weather was indeed fine for a stroll in Melbourne's Royal Botanic Garden.
We made good time arriving at Gate D, though we had a walk a fair bit since we got off one stop too late (we only knew vaguely where it was)
As interestingly as it is winter, the grass was pretty green... and there were a number of foliage still alive and green. (Jaslyn)
So much for the mental preparation of barren brown gardens
There was a small lake to view...
and in the lake were ducks that when they knew of our presence, they swam as their lil feet could to the possible appearance of food, which we didn't have... [lol]
But they came anyway and even out of the water to find food...
We explored the gardens and I found a few pretty flowers...
but not very much... Guess it's winter after all... Look, naked trees (Yoong Yoong's way of saying bald trees)
Some trees were still in the stage of autumn... which meant pretty colours for me to capture [grin]
We made our way from the gardens...
via on foot, tram, train and bus...
to Caulfield..
To a shopping mall here. I like the natural lighting that the mall has. [points to the glass panels above]
The mall was moderately big. Has 2 floor; the size equiavent of 2 floors of KLCC
We came to watch a movie "Sex and the City", not my usual choice of movie. No censorship board to cut any scenes so there were plenty of 'actions' to see.. [roll eyes] Wonder how much would be left of the movie back in M'sia.. or is it banned there? [shrugs] I was more interested in the storyline. For a person who has not seen the series, I found the storyline really nice.
Next movie to watch; Prince Caspian. Aslan, wait for me~! [grin] Cheers~!

Bet you they won't show it here in Msia... our censorship board is really old-fashion [rolls eyes].

Ah well. The word sex would have rang so many bells back in the M'sia censorship board.
